Drill Instructors at MCRD Parris Island and San Diego, that’s who!
Why?
When parents and friends arrive at Family Day they see their loved one for the first time since they left for boot camp. The awe at the transformation that has taken place over the twelve weeks that have passed is sometimes overwhelming. There are many factors in this transformation, but the consistent, dedicated efforts (i.e. yelling) of Drill Instructors can not be understated. Or forgotten.
It is our hope that when you give the Yelling card to a Drill Instructor either at MCRD Parris Island or at MCRD San Diego you will make a connection with them that lets them know you respect their incredibly hard work and amazing accomplishment with your specific Marine.
It’s that kind of connection we hope every greeting card we create will inspire in both the giver and receiver of 2MyHero cards. We’re convinced that for all the yelling that Drill Instructors have to do daily, they also possess a sense of humor that will appreciate this card in particular.

Yelling came first. We loved her response to this card! “This is hilarious! I love it! But not everyone will think it’s funny. You should probably create one that is not sarcastic.” So we did. This is still our favorite though.
