You may have noticed this wording on our product pages:
All cards are 2MyHero original photography and computer generated designs. They are professionally printed in Portland, OR on gloss card stock that is acid-free and made in the USA.
It’s true. All the images we use on the cards are our own photography. Sometimes we use stock photos for social media posts. But not on our card designs!
The original image used on A Marine Now was taken at the Southeast Portland Recruit Center, just down the road a couple miles. It is one of the first images we created, and it has far and away been our best selling card.
We had a hunch that Marines were pretty darn proud of their uniforms (duh, right!?!). And using an image of the uniform (tweaked a little bit in Photoshop) might be a winner. It certainly has been. Both online and in the retail shops that carry our cards, this one continues to sell steady and strong.
2MyHero works hard to creatively reach beyond the typical imagery found on greeting cards for military. We want to express a depth of feeling and connection that will help bridge the gap between those of us who are civilians to the men and women we love who are or were at one time in military service.
2MyHero sells cards individually as well as in Mixed Packs (a mix of six cards including white square flap envelopes). A Marine Now is also sold in the USMC Collection Mixed Pack A Marine Now.
If you know a young man or woman heading off to boot camp at Parris Island or San Diego, you’ll want to purchase one of the Mixed Packs so you can encourage them at every stage – during bootcamp, at graduation and depending on how often you write them at boot camp, you may have one or two left over to send after graduation on their first assignment.
All six packs include one card to give to a Drill Instructor. A Marine now and Still a lady include Sir, YES SIR. In addition to Thank You cards for Drill Instructors, the Mixed Packs include four general encouragement cards that can be sent either while a recruit is still at boot camp, or later on when they are at their next level of training or even on deployment. The encouragement cards included in the Mixed Packs give you a variety of options to build bridges of respect and appreciation with your Marine.
Whether your Marine is new to the Corps or been in for awhile, you will want to purchase one of our Thank You Notecard Pack of Eight for them. Thank You cards are always in style, and can be used by new Marines to thank those who have supported them through boot camp, all the way up to the food chain to Officers with a variety of correspondence needs. Our packs of Thank You Notecards (blank inside) are both classy and very useful! They too are great sellers!
We’ve learned that military members are very loyal to their branch of service. Especially US Marines! They are our best customers!
With the exception of our Gold Star sympathy cards, all of our cards are licensed. That means we have signed agreements with each branch. All designs have been approved through the trademark offices to bear branch specific trademarks, logos and wording. If you want to know more about the details of our license agreements, click HERE.
Not only are our cards licensed with the USAF, USCG, USN and USMC, but they also communicate in a way that is fresh, relevant and personal.
We also sell a selection of 2MyHero cards on Amazon. Click on these links for US Air Force Mixed Packs, and Thank You Notecards, US Marines Mixed Packs and Thank You Notecards as well as US Navy Mixed Packs and Thank You Notecards.
